Specific Conditions of Use
Rules that apply to individual games — lotteries, casino / eGaming and virtual sports — including draws, settlement, prizes and claims.
-
1. How these conditions apply
These Specific Conditions of Use supplement our Terms & Conditions (Player Agreement) and apply to each game offered on the site. Where there is any conflict for a particular game, the game's specific conditions prevail. By participating you accept the rules, prize structure, odds, cut-off times, settlement rules and draw schedule applicable to that game, as published in its official game conditions. You must be 19 or older and resident in and located in British Columbia to play.
-
2. Lotteries — buying tickets and selections
For draw games such as Lotto Max, Lotto 6/49, BC/49, Keno and BC 50/50, you choose a set of numbers from the available range or use Quick Pick to generate them at random. You may play multiple lines up to the per-game maximum, and the cost shown is the price per line multiplied by the number of lines. An entry is confirmed once payment is accepted and a ticket is recorded in your account, and is valid only if received and confirmed before the draw cut-off. All cut-off times are given in Pacific Time (PT); the general BCLC cut-off is 19:30 PT on draw days, and any different cut-off for a particular game is stated in that game's official conditions.
-
3. Draws and random number generation
Draws take place on the published schedule for each game. Winning numbers and the outcomes of eligible casino / eGaming games are produced by a certified random number generator that is independently tested for randomness. Draw records and game logs are retained for audit. See our Fairness & RNG Testing Methods page for more detail.
-
4. Prize tiers and odds
The published prize tiers and odds for BC/49, Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max are set out in the tables below. For every other game — and for the theoretical return to player (RTP) of casino / eGaming games — the figures are published in the official game conditions issued by BCLC for that game, and Customer Support will provide them on request before you play. Prizes are won by matching the required number of selections or, for casino / eGaming games, by the game's published outcome and pay table. Odds describe long-run probabilities and do not guarantee a win in any single play.

5. Shared jackpots and pari-mutuel prizes
Top prizes (jackpots) and certain tiers may be shared equally among all valid winning entries in that tier for the same draw. Where a prize pool is divided among winners, individual amounts depend on the number of winners and the total entries, and may differ from any advertised estimate. For BC 50/50 there is no fixed jackpot at all: the prize is 50% of the value of all tickets sold for that draw.
-
6. Virtual sports — how they settle
Virtual sports games are RNG games themed around sporting events. Outcomes are generated by a certified RNG, not by real sporting events. There are no pre-match or in-play markets on this site, no prices that move, and no settlement against official results or third-party data feeds, because the events are not real. Each virtual game settles against its own published pay table as soon as the RNG result has been determined. Where a malfunction occurs, the play is corrected, refunded or voided under the rules below.
-
7. Claiming and paying prizes
Prizes are credited to your account after results are validated. Prizes must be claimed within 52 weeks (one year) of the draw date, unless BCLC has announced a different period for a particular game; that period is also stated on each game. Unclaimed prizes after that period are handled in accordance with applicable regulations. Before any withdrawal we complete identity, age and residency verification (KYC), and certain prizes may be subject to procedures set by BCLC and the regulator.
-
8. Cancellations and errors
Once a draw cut-off has passed, or a game has settled, entries generally cannot be cancelled. In the case of a system error, pricing mistake, or display discrepancy, our official records govern and affected entries may be corrected, refunded or voided. Refunds, where applicable, are returned to your account. You may dispute any such decision; on request we will provide an extract of the game logs for the transaction concerned.
-
9. Responsible-gambling controls in play
Any deposit, loss, time or self-exclusion limits you have set apply to play and may prevent or restrict an entry. Where a limit, break or Game Break self-exclusion is active, affected purchases will be declined. An account for which no weekly deposit limit has been set cannot be used to play at all. These GameSense controls are part of the game rules and cannot be bypassed.
-
10. Game integrity
All games operate on BCLC's certified platform under the Gaming Control Act (British Columbia). We reserve the right to suspend a game, correct an error, or void affected entries where the integrity of a result is in question, in accordance with these conditions and our regulatory requirements. Game-specific rules are published in the official game conditions for each game and form part of the Player Agreement.
