You must be 19+ and in British Columbia
Registration and play are open only to people who are 19 years of age or older and resident in British Columbia, physically located in the province at the time of play. This is not a preference — it is the boundary of the authority under which gaming is conducted here, and it is checked.
Who conducts and manages gaming here
Gambling in British Columbia is conducted and managed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), a Crown corporation of the Province, under the Gaming Control Act (B.C.) and s. 207 of the Criminal Code of Canada. Oversight is provided by the Independent Gambling Control Office. There is no numeric licence to quote: a provincial Crown corporation operates under statute rather than under a licence issued by a third party.
Verifying who you are
Identity verification through Document Upload confirms your age and residency. It also protects your account: it is what stops someone else registering or withdrawing in your name. Documents are handled under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and our Privacy Policy sets out what is collected, why, and how long it is kept.
Support is free, confidential and always open
Gambling Support BC answers 24/7 on 1-888-795-6111, at no cost and in confidence. GameSense tools — limits, reality checks, Take a Break and Game Break — are built into your account rather than bolted on, and using them costs nothing and closes nothing.
